A few years ago, the new bridge went in on Cat Gap Road here in Rabun County, Georgia. They opened it up a lot, so as a result, my field is not flooding like it once was. In fact, springs are popping up everywhere, instead of the general boggy wetness of the flat 4 acres or so on this 43 plus acre farm.
So I am trying to recover these springs to a more pristine condition while balancing responsible use of this valuable resource. More to follow as this unfolds…
